FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE
Due to such high demands, KSIBCF has temporarily exhausted our funding.
The Kommah Seray Inflammatory Breast Cancer Foundation (KSIBCF) is a unique organization because we meet the IMMEDIATE NEEDS of active breast cancer patient (having chemo or radiation) and other types of cancer, funding permitted. We know firsthand how important the "little things" are to families in their day to day battle with cancer.
Immediate Assistance:
Our Immediate Assistance Program is for anyone with cancer who is undergoing chemo or radiation treatment. We offers one-time assistance per applicant per year and it covers utility bills, doctor visit co-payments, oral prescription co-payments, transportation and grocery assistance. Unfortunately, we do not cover any form of housing, hormonal therapy, insurance co-payments, auto insurance or loan payments. (BLACK OUT or ERASE ALL SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBERS. We will NOT accept applications or supporting documentation with SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBERS on them.)
Survivor Assistance:
Our Survivor Assistance Program is for breast cancer survivors who have had breast surgery. They must have doctor's approval for post surgery garments if surgery was within two months from request. Through this program we assist with lymphedema and post surgery garments.
Please note: We are unable to assist with medical bills, hormonal therapy medications, Herceptin ONLY, rent, mortgage, lodging expenses, auto insurance, or loan payments. Also, KSIBCF does not fund qualified applicants directly. Instead, we pay directly to creditors on their behalf.
