Gifts:

KSIBCF welcomes one time gifts from individuals and businesses.  Please contact Charles McDowell at (909) 247-0051 to arrange for all one time gifts.

 Bequests:

One of the easiest ways to make a gift to K.S. Inflammatory Breast Cancer Foundation is by leaving K.S. IBC Foundation a bequest in your Will. There are several ways you can do this. You can (1) give a specific amount of money to K.S. IBC Foundation; (2) give a specific item of property to K.S. IBC Foundation; or (3) give a specified percentage of the residue of your estate to K.S. IBC Foundation (the residue of your estate is that which is left over after all specific gifts have been made, whether charitable or non-charitable). Since we cannot predict future medical advances, we recommend that your bequest be for unrestricted purposes or be directed generally to research.

Below are two examples of the verbiage that could be used to make a gift:

"I give and devise to K.S. Inflammatory Breast Cancer Foundation, or its successor, the sum of _________ Dollars ($_________) to be used for such charitable purposes as the governing body of K.S. Inflammatory Breast Cancer Foundation deems appropriate; provided, however, that at the time of such gift, K.S. Inflammatory Breast Cancer Foundation or its successor, must be a charity as described in Sections 170(c) and 2055(a) of the Internal Revenue Code."

OR

"I give and devise ________ percent (________%) of my residuary estate to K.S. Inflammatory Breast Cancer Foundation, or its successor, to be used for such charitable purposes as the governing body of K.S. Inflammatory Breast Cancer Foundation deems appropriate; provided, however, that at the time of such gift, K.S. Inflammatory Breast Cancer Foundation, or its successor, must be a charity as described in Sections 170(c) and 2055(a) of the Internal Revenue Code."

A bequest may be included in the body of a will or as an amendment (codicil). Gifts made through a bequest typically provide an estate tax deduction. Please be advised that you should always consult with your estate planning representative, tax advisor or attorney for more information on how you may benefit by making a charitable contribution.

 Client Sponsorship/Partnership:

The Kommah Seray Inflammatory Breast Cancer Foundation is seeking donations and client sponsorship from Companies and individuals to help meet the needs of men, women, and children who are currently battling cancer. KSIBCF knows first hand how important it is to maintain quality of life in the midst of cancer. As we focus on the little things for our clients, such as, maintaining household bills, groceries for families, hot meals, prescription drug cost, and assistance to and from treatments, we are faced with an overwhelming financial challenge. With your help we will be able to give hope to families that have lost hope. Your sponsorship would have a direct impact on our clients and 100% of your donations would be utilized to preserve the quality of life for our clients and their families.

We have one particular client who has been featured on Inside Edition (channel 9).  Visit Cynthia Howell to see her story.

KSIBCF encourages corporate and individuals to become sponsors or donors in one or more ways:

Direct Sponsorship: Supports a specific client of KSIBCF. General summaries of KSIBCF client's in need of direct sponsorship will be provided to those interested.  Below is an example of the summaries provided.  Direct Sponsors are able to determine who and how many individuals/families you would like to sponsor.

Indirect Sponsorship: A one-time or reoccurring monetary donation. Indirect sponsorship is critical because the funds will allow KSIBCF to assist clients while we work to connect them with a direct sponsor. However, there is a maximum annual donation amount per client for indirect sponsorship funds.

Product & Service Sponsorship: Donating specific products to KSIBCF to assist clients and their families during their treatment process or providing a specific service to KSIBCF for our clients that would improve their quality of life. This type of sponsorship would also include drives or fundraising efforts hosted by business to support KSIBCF clients. All funds raised would be added to the Indirect Sponsorship fund and all products or services received would be distributed to clients who are in need.

Please note, clients will not receive any cash in hand. KSIBCF would distribute funds on behalf of our clients and purchase all necessary items and provide them directly to our clients. Also, KSIBCF will automatically provide annually contribution statements.
